Here is the second Calavera. I have always loved to use a lot of colors in my art work and at times went overboard and this is allowing me to go for it without holding back.

Happy Halloween everyone!!!! I have absolutely no idea why I have never done one of these before! I had a lot of fun and I am working on others to make them a set. This piece was done digitally in Illustrator.

Fox Update

Here is an update to compare original image to final image and the updates that I did to it.

This is the final image! This little fox will make more appearances, so keep an eye out for him.

This is a piece I have been working on. It is almost complete, I still need to do some tweaking. First I did a quick sketch in Photoshop, than I did a color version, took it into Illustrator to fine line the image, and ended it by bringing it back into Photoshop to color it.

Here is a new piece! I sketched it in Photoshop and did the line art in Manga Studio to give me more control on the smoothness of the lines. It was a combination of both programs to make this piece. Enjoy and any input is welcomed. I will revisit this piece later on to improve it.

WIP Mermaid

Here is an image that I have been working on. It still needs work. I hope to be able to take it further than any other piece that I have made before.

I drew this portrait of my co-worker that is retiring at the end of this month. I did it on valuer paper with black soft pastel, white and black conte and charcoal. I am rusty in drawing portraits, but I am glad that both he and his wife liked it.

Flower

This is another piece I worked on using the program, sketch book pro, that was fun to use, it felt very intuitive.

Fish doodle

Woo hoo!!! Feels good to be able to do some art work! Haven't been able to for a while, but I am taking advantage of my weekends now to work on improving my artistic skills. I've been artistically pent up. For this piece it started on a tablet using a program called sketch book pro, than I brought it into Photoshop to finish it. It was my first time using a tablet that was touch sensitive and I LIKED IT!!! Instead of having a wacom tablet on the side, it was pretty cool to draw right on the screen. I really got some catching up to do with technology. :D

I will post more artwork later. This was a good start. Still have to improve more.
